9 Minute Spanish
I’ve been working on a presentation to show people how quickly they can start enjoying speaking Spanish.
It turns out that in less than 9 minutes the sentences already start to flow.

Sorry, could not open the audio.
I started the 9 minute audio lesson and after the ity words from English to Spanish it just stopped and I couldn’t get it going again. I enjoyed the ity tip very much.

The audio didn,t come thu.But really enjoy and listen to your other audio tidbits. For me seems the way to learn a language. One day soon I,ll get the courses.and I already recommended them to my friends.

I enjoyed your spanish lesson very much.I think this is the right way to start to learn spansi, to talk spansih directly.Grammer you can learn afterwards.
I’m a swede but even for me it’s a good help to see the simularity between the english and spansh words.

This is good and makes learning quite easy
I enjoyed the 9 minute review as I enjoyed your Shortcut to Spanish. However, I felt very “cheated” when I finished that course to learn that your next level was “full” and I had to either wait 6 weeks or choose another course. As a 4-5 year language teaching professional, I was especially disappointed.

Sorry you missed out on a place in Bola de Nieve. As that program does include coaching, I do have to limit the positions to be able to take care of all the members.

Yes I enjoyed your lesson very much and found it quite easy, but I would have liked to see the text as I was listning, I just find that if I can read the words while I am listning to them they stay in my mind a lot easier.

Thanks for the feedback.
Lately, I have been making transcripts available of all my lessons. I must point out that it’s important to interact with the audio. It’s essential to your success with Spanish that you be as engaged as possible with the lesson. However, as long as you are not glued to the transcript, if text can help then I’m all for it. After all, the sooner the Spanish stays in your mind the sooner you can use it to speak with your amigos.
I’ll make transcript of this lesson available soon.

enjoyed the 9 mins . i am dyslexic so this could be the way forward for me
I like your method of teaching. I imagine that it appeals to those of us who don’t have a natural talent with languages.

Thanx for your offer, but for my the difficulty is double.
My languane is Dutch, so I must translate it first in english.
Do you also have directly Dutch / Spanish lessons?

So my grand-daughter is ¼ Spanish.

My short tongue, my memory are my shortcomings in learning spanish .. but I am tryng to learn each day while I am still working here in madrid.
Your presentation is very helpful.
I have been trying to teach myself Spanish for the last 10 years or so, I have a reasonable command of it but last feedback. I soooooo wish I could afford the course that Marcus offers as it sounds so easy to understand and I know I would learn Spanish much quicker. Who knows, one day I shall be able to get it from him.
Hi Marcus: Because I’m on dial up the server cuts out and I do not get much but what I got in bit & pieces sounds good. Do you have a tape of it and the othe hints that I can buy. Also I’m finished “shortcut to Spanis 12,3. It was absolutely GREAT ! ! ! ! What is the next set of tapes I can get. We leave to Mazatlan for 6 months on Oct 29th So I’d love to hear from you quickly. Thanks in advance

am able to p[lay audio but cannot as i use internet connection in a biblioteca (library) and it’s not allowed. i want to download audio to play later but don’t know if that’s possible.

And its very interesting to listen the English grammar to spanish and I learn a lot even though I didn’t speak it I gained to understand many words to spanish.. I have managed to download your 9 minute audio Marcus and I found it very interesting. It has given me more of an insight into the language as just learning the verbs and basics was becoming boring so now I can look on endings of words, eg cion, edad etc which will help me remember words more easily. Keep up the good work and I look forward to more of your audios via Email. I am going to Spain after Christmas for 4 weeks so really look forward to your help and I can then practise what I learn with my friends in Spain. This is great and I’m loving all of it, including Bola Nieve! Your way of teaching is spot on and encouraging many of us who have been wanting to increase our spanish in a way that gets us to think and speak it mas rapido and that is the point.
