to each his own...I find it helps me a great deal to take a short sentence using a phrase peculiar to Spanish which is foreign to English. Then I keep going over that one sentence using all tenses and moods. Example: I go to visit my friend. Voy a visitar A mi amigo. I went to visit my friend. I used to visit my friend. I will go to visit my friend. I have been, I had been, I might visit, I should visit, etc. Try it...it works for me.

Marcus,

You are a great teacher! The Fluency Pattern lessons are good. Best of all they show me how much Spanish I have learned by using Synergy Spanish. I know most of the words, and I understand much of the structure of what was covered.

Right now I am reviewing Synergy Spanish lessons 20-5 (I finished the 25 lessons several months ago) to strengthen my grasp of the latter concepts. I am also working on phonics and the rhythm of speaking the language. I anticipate and hope that these strategies will help me improve my speaking, listening and remembering skills.

Thank you for developing Synergy Spanish programs. They make think I can ... learn to speak Spanish.

Great lessons! I'm really grateful to you for all that I have learned. I had 20 lessons in Castellano 40 years ago before going to work in Paraguay but when we arrived there discovered we must learn Guaraní. In those days Spanish was spoken only in Asunción and Concepción. After 3 years my wife and I were asked to begin a new work in Brasil, so we moved over to Portuguese. Muchas gracias.
