Free Video #2: Spanish Life, Love and Music

Free Video #2: Spanish Life, Love and Music

I’m always excited to hear about my students using their Spanish in the real world. Here are some comments from my blog about making use of these Spanish lessons in real-life situations.

I love this post about music. More please. My husband plays the guitar and mandolin and one of the things we most enjoy when we go to Mexico is making music with others in our community ( a small fishing village. As we have started learning Spanish as we older this right up our alley.

Thank you Marcus. Beautiful lesson. I love music, and I play piano. Now I can talk in Spanish about my hobby. Muchas gracias otra vez. Your student Julia

Many of my students also said they are looking forward to the next lesson. It’s now ready for you to enjoy speaking to learn more Spanish by pressing the video image below.

The link back to part one is not working. I accidently deleted the original email that gave me that link. Would you please fix it here or resend it in a new email.

    Gracias!
    Julie

P.S. videos are great. Only critique/suggestion is that sometimes I am slower than the answer it would be great to have an extra second or two to come up with the full answer before it is given.

    Thank you Marcus,

your lessons made it easy and enjoyable to spend 15 minutes a day so I am really appreciating your help and hopefully spend some time in Spain to speak with real people instead of talking to myself!!

Thank you for this free lesson. I now have some basic phrases to learn so that I can speak a little Spanish when I go on holiday this year. I really appreciate the time and you make it so easy.

I would like to thank you for your Bola de Nieve. Spanish conversation has been a trial. I could read and mostly understand. But when I had to speak nothing came out correctly. I read the grammar books and studied. When I went to college I got a BS so I did’t have to take language.
I found the direct like “use to speak” or “use to work” much more helpful than “past imperfect predicate”. Also, the directive to use the present for immediate future truly helpful.

As water dripping onto a rock slowly wears it away so your weekly lessons are wearing away at my ignorance , and giving me the framework to build an understanding of this beautiful language . I recently went to Spain and felt confident in traveling around alone , without a language guide but with your building blocks firmly planted in my ancient medulla oblongata. Thanks mate you are a legend.

I am loving this method of learning Spanish! I’m going on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic in September. I’ve only had two months to learn enough Spanish to get by. Your method has been so helpful.
    Quiero aprender mas!

    Marcus,
I love your way of teaching Spanish. Your videos are great. I’m scheduled to be in Puerto Vallarta for 4 weeks, mid Nov. to mid Dec. I’m thinking of purchasing your Synergy Spanish Systems program sometime in September. I am taking my iPad with me to Puerto Vallarta – would I be able to utilize your program on my iPad?(and my iPhone). I would appreciate receiving your reply.
    Thank you, Tad

    P.S.
I’m planning to study your system at least 2-3 hrs. a day for the whole months of October and November until my departure. What are my chances to be able to acquire basic knowledge and fluency in Spanish to be able to communicate easily with native speakers? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks again, Tad

    Marcus Reply:

Yes, Synergy Spanish will be the best place for you to start. It’ll take you a long way towards your goal and you should be able to finish well within your timeframe.

Also, we do have an App for iPad, It comes free with the Synergy Spanish program.

    Marcus,
You have always helped me as I plowed through learning Spanish for the past 10 years. I just want to thank you again for being so good at what you do. I have tried many different courses and methods but only you have the right combinations for learning the language. I am 74 years old and ” puedo defenderme en espanol”, thanks to you.

Sometimes native Spanish speakers will say to me: “How did you learn to speak Spanish so well?” I tell them it’s the combination of Synergy Spanish and Rosetta Stone. The lessons in Synergy Spanish flow very naturally, and I always learn more Spanish AND / OR solidify the Spanish that I’ve already learned.

Gracias otra vez Marcus.

I have been taking your courses for over 2 years now and love the way you teach and there are 6 in our class, and we have been able to use our Spanish so much. We are in Houston, TX and thank you so much for FINALLY introducing us to something we can finally use and not memorize verbs and verb forms such as we had in college.
